A large part of successful funds management is, for me, keeping up-to-date with just about everything, eg:
- World events
- Changing business practices
- Changing attitudes
- New social trends
- Movements on the political scene
I don’t believe in constantly changing investments in response to outside events but I do believe that an awareness of the larger world helps to ensure a balance between risk and reward. Perhaps the only event I don’t take too seriously is the latest All Blacks performance!!
Most of my information comes from extensive, broad reading and every so often I come across a piece that really resonates with me. I’m pleased to share some of those items with you.
